Kamat's Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai is affiliated to Maharashtra Board of Vocational Education. The group Kamats had a humble and a modest beginning. A clear vision along with determination and hard work, have gone a long way in helping the group achieve successful results and has laid the foundation of the most successful restaurant and hotel chain in india which has held strong foothold in the hospitality industry.
Kamats have been in the hospitality field for more than four decades. It has become synonymous with quality food and services. Kamat Hotel India Ltd. has owned and managed five star deluxe hotels.
Kamats hotel India Ltd went public in 1994, realising this global vision with the demand for trained manpower. In 1995 Kamats Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Food Research Center was set up under the Indra Venkatesh Foundation to achieve the same goal. Around 1500 Students have passed out in the past few years as a Hotel Professionals from this Institute and are now at Top level of major 5 Star Hotels, Cruise liners, Catering Services, Airlines, Hotel Consultant and Others are working World wide successfully.
