Kelkar Education Trust's V.G.Vaze College of Arts, Science and Commerce was established in 1984. It is youngest college to get permanent affiliation from the university. V.G.Vaze College is first affiliated college in Maharashtra accredited with A 5 star. The college ws awarded by University of Mumbai as Best College in 2005. The colleges has over 65 faculty and 200 administrative staff .
It offers facilities like library, internet, laboratories, placements for all the candidates. The eligibilty for undergraduate courses is 10+2 pass and for post graduate courses the elibility is graduation. The admission to most of these courses is done through various entrance tests at different levels and for rest of the courses the admission is done directly.
