About M.L. Dahanukar College of Commerce

Parle Commerce College was established in June,1960. In recognition of a munificently generous donation of Rs.3,00,000/-by Late Shri.M.L.Dahanukar, an industrialist of Mumbai to Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association, the college was named after him as M.L.Dahanukar College of Commerce in 1962.

The College is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. College has two sections namely, Junior College and Degree College. Junior College provides instruction to the students of XI and XII. Degree College caters to the needs of undergraduate and postgraduate students from F.Y.B.Com to M.Com. The College has a fully functioning Self Financed Courses department that conducts Mumbai University Degree courses like BMS, B.Com.(Accounts & Finance),B.com.(Banking & Insurance),B.Sc.(I.T.) & B.Com(Financial Markets).

A Graduate degree from Mumbai University equips a student to achieve higher professional qualifications in the field of management (MBA), Accountancy (C.A.), Costing (ICWA), Company Secretary (C.S.) etc.
