About R. D. National College & W. A. Science College

The college rose like a phoenix from the ashes of communal fires of the partition of India in 1947.This college is accredited by NAAC at B++ GRADE. Established originally in 1922 with the blessings of Dr. Annie Besant and Rishi Dayaram Gidumal, the college saw a shift in its location from Hyderabad (Sind) to Bombay in 1949. The mission of this College is all round development of the students with an equal emphasis on academics as well as extra and co-curricular activities so that they emerge as individuals capable of facing the challenges of life.The college aims at academic excellence,realization of inherent creative skills, sharpening of leadership skills, inculcating the right values,  sesitization of the problems of the country and emphasis on liberal, secular and open-minded education.The college offers various UG and PG courses in arts, science and commerce stream. B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com programs are offered at undergraduate level while M.Sc programe is provided at post graduate level
