The Secondary Training College, Mumbai was established in 1906. It is the Premier Teacher Training College. It is affiliated to University of Mumbai.

Secondary Training College, Mumbai has Well Equipped Library with Rare Books Section. Books in English, Hindi, Gujrathi, Urdu and Marathi available, Ultra Modern Computer Laboratory with Networking and MTNL’s Broad Band facility, Well Equipped Laboratories are i) Educational Technology ii) Psychology iii) Language iv) Social Science v) Music vi) Work Experience.

Secondary Training College, Mumba offers B. Ed. Regular , B. Ed. Vacational , M. Ed. (Regular) Proposed  courses.
It offers facilities like library, internet, laboratories, placements for all the candidates. The eligibilty for undergraduate courses is 10+2 pass and for post graduate courses the elibility is graduation. The admission to most of these courses is done through various entrance tests at different levels and for rest of the courses the admission is done directly.

Admission Criteria	The candidate should have passed graduation/ bachelors degree or equivalent from any recognised university. Selection will be based as per the university norms
