About The Royal Higher Education Society’s College of Arts, Science & Commerce

The Royal College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Mumbai was established in 1989. The College received recognition of the UGC under section 2(f) and 12B in May 1999 and is accredited by NAAC. This fourteen year old institution located in semi-urban setting on a 2.5 acre campus at Mira Road(conglomeration of villages) in Thane district, very near the periphery of the metropolitan city of Mumbai has four undergraduate programmes taught by 36 teachers. This is the only science college in the radius of 30 kms. Adequate well ventilated class rooms, laboratories, staff rooms and equipment and furniture needed for students have been provided.Industrial visits by science and management students and designing software for industries and summer placement with various companies in the neighbourhood have helped the college to establish close links with industries. This not only enables students acquire hands on / practical experience but also creates an awareness in the society about the relevance of the curriculum to meet societal needs.
