SVKM’s Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management (SVKM), Mumbai was established in 2003. The college is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The college offers Bachelor of Mass Media Course. It is a three year course. The institute's infrastructure is modern with well equipped facilities. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to the students in various departments of the college.

Among the various colleges affiliated to the University of Mumbai, this is the first college to have organised an International Film Festival, screening films made by students and non-professionals making films. The jury that judged the various categories of films received included Shabana Azmi, Sudhir Mishra, Anurag Kashyap, Anupam Kher, Ramesh Talwar, Mr Sippy and many more.

The festivals had guests from the media and Indian film industry as Chief Guests for inauguraland closing ceremonies. To name a few, Madhur Bhandarkar, Aamir Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Shabana Azmi, Anurag Kashyap, Ramesh Talwar, Boman Irani,Imran Khan, and many more, graced the occasion. The entire event is webcast live all around the world for two complete days.
